The role
We’re looking for a Senior Operations Engineer in Singapore to join our Managed Operations & Support (MOS) team. Your mission will be to keep our cloud-hosted platforms secure, reliable, and high-performing – ensuring the systems behind digital banking run smoothly every single day.
You’ll take ownership of incident management, deployments, and daily operations, while working closely with internal teams, partners, and customers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration.

What You’ll Do
- Monitor and manage our hosted Realtime-XLS application and related systems.
- Handle daily operations including batch processing and file imports/exports.
- Lead incident management from detection to resolution.
- Deploy applications, upgrades, and patches into production and UAT.
- Troubleshoot system and application issues, ensuring performance and uptime.
- Administer users, access, and platform housekeeping activities.
- Collaborate with customer teams and hosting providers on operational matters.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and root cause analyses.
What you’ll bring
Must-have:
5+ years in a similar operations engineering role.
Strong English communication skills.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
Scripting skills (Perl, Python, Bash, KornShell).
Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud) outside a pure DevOps model.
Knowledge of infrastructure security (PCI-DSS or ISO 27001 environments).
Basic database and Java/J2EE/NodeJS administration.
Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, troubleshooting).
Experience with application servers (Tomcat, NodeJS).
Batch job monitoring (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, IBM TWS).
Web server installation and configuration.
3+ years in customer-facing roles.
Nice-to-have:
System performance monitoring and analysis.
Experience with POS terminals and payment network infrastructure.
Knowledge of the retail payments or banking industry.
Basic familiarity with DevOps, containers, automation, or CI/CD.
