Finshape is partnering with key Egyptian IT solutions and services provider BVS to support the region’s financial institutions along their digitalisation journey with award-winning personalisation and data analytics tools.
The agreement will see BVS bring Finshape’s digital banking platform and deep personalisation capabilities to the Middle East and North Africa and help banks integrate them with their existing technology stacks to maximise the potential of both.
A strategic priority for the European fintech firm, the partnership will allow Finshape to strengthen ties with financial industry players across the MENA region. The group has more than 30 years of experience and currently boasts a 400-strong staff, a reach of over 20 million customers through 100 clients, including Erste Bank, Raiffeisen Bank International and Riyad Bank. Finshape has won four FinovateEurope Best of Show awards and is a MEA Finance Awards 2022 winner in the category Best Financial Data Analysis Provider.
“To remain competitive, banks must respond to a changing consumer and technology landscape. This requires the ability to exchange data and APIs securely and reliably across internal and external systems, especially when it comes to core applications that their business depends on,”
– explained Sheref El-Banna, CEO of BVS.
“Finshape’s digital banking solutions offer just that, allowing banks to automate customer interactions with their existing applications and add new ones to their app ecosystem.”
Armand Magharian, director of business development at Finshape, commented:
“We believe that the Middle East and Africa are key to expanding our global footprint. This is why we’ve been actively seeking potential partners who know and understand the local market and business environment and can help us realise our ambition. Teaming up with BVS was a no-brainer because it was clear that they share our vision of helping banks, as well as bank customers, reap the benefits of data-driven innovation.”
